    hey IJ

If you would have searched you would have found all your answers. Next time you post, search and do some research first. Then post your questions and link everyone to the threads that you read and explain what they talked about and what information they lacked. Then ask your question. If you...

    Minimal machine work 7MGTE

Since you are building another motor and you already have the other motor out you could just replace that single bearing and run it until you find pieces of the block on the floor (just kidding!) I'd just get the machine work done once to that jdm engine and be done with it.

    top-end fasteners

Do you mean cam cap bolts? I'm sure you can get that from the dealer. However, if you want to get all new bolts for each and every bracket on the engine then that might be hard to do. You'd be amazed how easily the bolts clean up with a wire brush and carb cleaner.

Why does everyone underestimate the MKIII?

I don't get any disrespect... Who are you guys hanging out with?

    V mounting?

V mounting seems like some dumb 240sx thing. Why not just run a large intercooler and a large radiator. Seems dumb to move everything around and run a 60% size radiator and 60% size intercooler. Doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I don't get why some do it.

    vacuum hose mixup?

Kinda hard to tell what you are talking about, but you should not block off any of your vacuum lines. Here are a few good charts: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/TechTips/vacuum_hose.aspx sometimes it's hard to tell where things are supposed to go so just look at a few other pictures and you...

    SoCal 22RE Rebuild Shop?

Here is a link to Kaizen's subforum http://www.supramania.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=138 Not sure if they specialize in in the 22r but I'm sure they they could help you get the machine work done that you need and they could probably get everything together without a hitch.

    turbo bad??????

If the shaft moves side to side a little, that is fine. But if it moves in and out then you have problems and are looking at a rebuild. Mine moves in and out a few mm when it was broken, so its not much.

    Are these stock speakers?

nope, no stock. I think the stock ones only have an Ohm rating on the back, nothing else.

    Where to buy rebuild parts???

I got my bearings from Kragen, my local auto parts store. Got my gasket set from Elmhurst Toyota (over on SupraForums). And I got my ARP studs from Driftmotion (good service from them).

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Not really a wheel fit question, more of a tire fit question: Anyone running large diameter and width tires while slightly lowered? I'm looking to get some 295s at about 27" diameter (compared to stock 25"). I am lowered about 1". Anyone running a similar tire and what offset or backspace are...
