around 60k miles is normal for all timming belts.. 10 years old is def old enough you should change with as many miles on it.. If it breaks the only hassle is getting towed...... as its a noninterferance motor....so you wont damage it.. now if it breaks doing7000 rpm ya might bend something

well i got 2000 miles on mine ... and no problems.. but i still dont see how a turbo can be that far out of balance if its the same stuff going back in sept seals and bearings.. You will have to clue me in on how they can become unbalanced
