I didn't end up doing a schematic, i figured Ill just have people send them in, its easier for me that way. I also like having the car here most of the time to test and ensure it was correct.
Yup, you need a non hydro fan water pump backing plate, and a 2jz water pump.

Also I wanted to add this. Most 1JZ engines that people buy have been sitting for years. I have bought 3 1jz motors, all have some sludge, and in the oil pan there is lot few build up of just a lot of things. I always take the entire motor apart, order a Toyota genuine gasket kit and ARP head...
Okay, you see the dampener. It is on the stock mount that comes on the 1jz. I circled it in red. You see the other two holes next to the oil filter, I think to fit the '89 + from what I remember you mount that bracket you bought in those two holes and the 2nd ones behind it. the dampener will be...
The mounts you attach to your block from DM are suppose to be on your motor before you drop it is. I put my on and I even loosely put my round ones on too, or square whatever you have.
Did you remove the fuel pressure dampener? I think of the '89 Plus the mount on the driver side can cause...
To all of you guys that ordered " Supra " motors but got a Chaser or a Soarer, please post where you got your motor from, i.e. company you went through. Most companies say they're Supra motors, but do not know anything. Just a word of advice to any of you. When you order a 1JZ you need to ask...
Not true.
Condensation can build up within minutes. It all depends on the temps outside. Just remember how hot your motor gets. If your running a car and it is 35 degrees out, it can and will build up within minutes.
I have done this to prove it. Of course on a 1JZ engine, but you can...
I didn't know if anyone saw this but Toyota Test driver died while driving a lexus LFA off the test track. Why is this relevant to the MKIII world, he helped design and test drive the Supra's, Celica, ae86, lexus IS 300 ETC.
Sad day for many people. Just remember he helped make what you drive...
That motor you have it out of a Soarer. A JZA70 Supra motor, will have near the same plugs for the interior. It will also have a hydro fan, and I am sure you have a clutch fan? I hate when companies send the wrong shit. If they sent you the trans mount too, I bet yours is aluminum. If I were you...
just curious was the check connector box wired into your car correctly? I know you said you don't have any codes, but have you tested to see if you " can " make the CEL come on?
Purple is the TEMS check connector in the engine bay on your harness.
The Black, Red, and red with white stripe go to the ECU for the TEMS the ECU on the car has inputs for those three wires for load conditions.
These pages will help you.
