ok whilst its running with FP and B+ connected engine light comes up after awhile. ok ive jumped it and pump doesnt run......also to add to this my temp gauge from a cold start goes stirght to "H" all grounds are ok!

hmm well the B+ wires, FP wire, Green wire from afm all connected ok. could it be an issue with NSW, STA due to it being a auto loom with manuel ecu?

I see Ive done that ive got 2 known working AFMS here and pushing in the AFM vane results in nothing :( to add to this I bridge the green wire FC i thin in the AFM to E2 and car runs..........

hmmm FC vaf what is that ? im running a w58 gearbox and i bridged the 2 thick wires in that 3 pin plug for it to start....circuit opening relay worked fine with my other loom wierd hey??

to replace piston rings you will need to strip down the motor..best thing is to get a motor out of a MX83 cressida and put that in with your rear sump! should be able to pick one up for around $100 - $400. I got my one that was rebuild appoxx 14xxxkm ago and shes mint :aigo:

anyone? also I noticed whilst cranking the car with my my multimeter lead tap into FP of ecu pin It goes to 6V(car starts then dies)

YEEEEE HAAAA it works and runs before I finsh wrapping up the new loom another problem has come up Car will not run unless I bridge FP and +B why is that what ive also noticed that at the fp PIN at the ECU if I put a multimeter there it has no voltage??/ with my old ecu and loom it ran fine!

I have a cressida 92 dizzy from a grey plug ecu if I was to change the plug to suit yellow plug ecu will it work with my 88 yellow plug ecu>?

cool well I know that the dizzy plug is different between grey and yellow plug but if I was to re wire it would the cressida/grey plug dizzy work with my yellow plug supra ECU? and Injectors are lime green from cressida and dont use a resistor pack so will they work with the yellow plug ecu...

mine where both spot welded mind you most of the spot welds where not penetrated lol.
