Hello Guys

I got hold of a Manual ecu(yellow plug big), wiring loom, dizzy and injectors and duel manifold. questions are can I use my cressida/supra 92 injectors and dizzy with the yellow plug ecu? my green injectors use a grey plug ecu and have no resistor pack. is it possible to use the new dizzy with the yellow plug ecu? My plan was to put in yellow plug loom and ecu plug it all up. currently ive attched the 4 wires together from the resistor plug loom so it can power the injectors! is the coil pack the same for all 7MGEs?

So all in all ill be using Yellow plug big plug ecu, grey plug green injectors non res pack, and possibly grey plug Dizzy.

Pre 89 used the same injector impedance as the turbo's(all years) can't remeber high or low.

I got most the stuff for my 86.5 from when I went NA-T, if you need something I may be able to help, but can't really answer your questions sorry.

cool well I know that the dizzy plug is different between grey and yellow plug but if I was to re wire it would the cressida/grey plug dizzy work with my yellow plug supra ECU? and Injectors are lime green from cressida and dont use a resistor pack so will they work with the yellow plug ecu without a resistor pack? If there's no resistor pack in either vehicle I'd be inclined to believe they're the same impedance. Grab a meter and test a few of each. If the impedances do not match, that's another thing.

You can install high impedance injectors in a vehicle which had low impedance injectors and a resistor pack. Simply bypass the resistor and swap the injectors. It doesn't work the other way around though.

YEEEEE HAAAA it works and runs before I finsh wrapping up the new loom another problem has come up Car will not run unless I bridge FP and +B why is that what ive also noticed that at the fp PIN at the ECU if I put a multimeter there it has no voltage??/ with my old ecu and loom it ran fine!

Yes it would work.

However, if you put in the green injectors, you will have to remove/bypass the resistor back.

Also, you will run pretty rich, because the ECU is not expecting the larger injectors. You can use an SAFC, or tighten the AFM spring about 6 clicks to help compensate.
