I would run Rotella T6 15W40 synthetic diesel oil. Sounds to be just what you need in your aging engine. Good for high heat and turbocharging and lots of cleaners in oil. Should help increasing your oil pressure as well. IMO.

If your diag is right . I bet your pump is failing. Run a new MKIV pump . Plenty of fuel for 550 whp. IMO I would get electronic fuel pressure gauge. So you watch while driving.

The ecu gets power and ground from the connectors. The spark and injectors are in the harness also. Why by pass the ecu for fuel pump The car essentially need about every thing but EGr and Charcoal canister to run. Toyota does not waste money item not needed to run.

I would lean towards the light switch or circuit for parking lights. If the box has been bypassed it could be as simple as the loose grounds or bad bulbs for brake lights.
