Cam Sensor Alternatives. 7mgte

Has anyone ever tried to remove cps and replace with a newer type of sensor. What mods where needed and if you needed to change computer who did you go with. No problems with mine just want to see what has been done. Duane supra is a perfect example. Any other choices?

Thanks for the tip 3P's. Do you think the top cover would allow some air gap changing on the cam sensor. Possible some minor flexing of plastic top cover. I am thinking about going standalone and this would allow about any ignition system. What a great simple idea.

That's badass. Who is Albert Meade. And Steven. Seems he got the idea from them. Doesn't explain where he got the lower crank timing sprocket fab from.

Crank can just be machined into the crank gear.

Usually ati and fluidampner will make custom dampners with gears or magnets built in.
