The rear mounts w/ a 8" bolt w/ a "J" bend @ the bottom. It hooks into a hole or loop down @ the base of the battery tray on the back side of the battery. The top would stick up through the battery bracket, and a nut would tighten down to hold the bracket snug on the top of the battery.
I do believe they are discontinued. There was a member in Australia on SF a while back that was able to get his hands on 4, and I believe the went for near $400 shipped.

How about that...they could have saved money doing away w/ front plates (i.e.-less to produce) and kept the better stickers! Bastards!
btw - notice that your new sticker has your plate # on it to verify that is the car it is registered to. Another way for the "man" to keep you in check!
The hatch is kinda cool, and they make the sedan in an "S" model like the Corolla. They also offer alot of the same TRD options that they offer as Scion.
