you have a bad wastegate probably. Reason why theres more creep from higher gears is due to more load that is applied.
Just switch out the wastegate and make sure it doesnt hit your downpipe and you should be fine. malloynx had this problem as well i believe.

Here I made a quick guide to those who are running the MAFT with SAFC setup.
Keep in mind im using the 2nd Gen SAFC with an 87-88 7mgte harness. Those of you with 89+ please find the correct diagram for your year 7m.

yes once you buy his FFIM, he will include the alternator drop down bracket or you can purchase the short runner manifold and you get a different bracket to mount the alternator in the AC spot. Which ever one you choose he can make happen. :)

w58 will last, just depends how long when your making over 400rwhp and constantly beating on it. Some guy in on cs.com is making over 350rwhp and has been running the w58 for 2 years now. runs consistent mid 12's on his mk2 also.
ok buddy your doing this the HARD way.
for oil pressure you have to use a "t" where the oil pressure sending unit is.
for oil drain you have to drill a hole and then weld a bung on the oil pan.

use toyota FIPG or Permetex FIPG will do the same.
The turbo pan WILL fit the NA black. Same flange pattern all around, the only thing different is the center sump. If it doesnt fit then use the front sump oil pan but it should fit with a center sump. Using the front sump on the MK3 will not...
my only other suggestion would be to check your CPS wires. Sometimes they get old and worn/break. A slight bump and your car will go off. Just a thought, but glad to hear that the car is back up and running.
