Well having rod knock gives me a lot of things to think about...1 being that I am going to stick w/ a 7M(considered a 1J)...and I plan to convert to a front-facing intake mani. besides the alternator, what else am I going to have to relocate and what not? I already switched around a lot putting my battery in the back... here is a pic of the motor(it's an old pic but the setup is still the same) also, could somebody give me a good picture to "really" show where things are suppose to go after the FFIM conv. Thanks for everything

yes once you buy his FFIM, he will include the alternator drop down bracket or you can purchase the short runner manifold and you get a different bracket to mount the alternator in the AC spot. Which ever one you choose he can make happen. :)

Good to hear that the hard part is over:) That includes other mounting brackets, pieces, etc. to relocate the alternator?

yeah his setups include the manifold, the alt lowering bracket, a throttle cable and mounting point, and a few other misc things i believe....and he can custom make the manifold to whatever you want such as isc or csi etc.....

I am very aware of Ron, but I never knew that he was the genius behind making a good handful of all the ffim's on all these cars...Kind of in shock! Very nice!

So let me get this straight, if I get the short runner (the one shaped like a triangle, sort of)...I would move my Alternator to where my AC was?
And if I get the long runner...Then the Alternator will have a bracket that simply drops it down so the Mani can go where the alternator used to be?
I think I got that right...

Hey, when you get it done you should go dyno and see what the power difference is.

I believe I read a post where someone saw around 30hp difference but the biggest gain was throttle response.
