    US vs JDM 7mgte

No. You can look at the external features (TB linkage, EGR, etc.) but that doesn't really tell you for sure, as the block/head/etc. is identical. Jeff

Obsolete MKIII parts; are there any?...yet?

Thousands of old cars that people don't order OEM parts for anymore. It makes sense, but I can check for you, which drip rail exactly? The one ON the Targa roof, or on the A-pillar, or which? The A-pillar drip rails are still available, left and right. The ones on the targa top come in...

    Lsd

That would be an 87-88 Turbo LSD then, would be the same for 87-88 A/T and M/T, both used 3.91:1. Jeff

    R154 Brackets

LH side is different for R154 and W58/A340E, but stayed the same for all years. RH is the same for R154 and W58/A340E, but 86, 87-88, and 89-92 all have different part numbers (3 different part numbers). None of them change up to any of the others, I don't know exactly what's different, but I'm...

    US vs JDM 7mgte

MK3 in Japan came with 1G-E, 1G-FE, 1G-GE, 1G-GTE, 7M-GTE and 1JZ-GTE. MK3 outside Japan came with 7M-GE and 7M-GTE. No need to use a 3.0L in Japan and get penalized for it when you can get the same power from the 2.0L 1G-GTE and not have to pay the 3.0L premium. Jeff

    US vs JDM 7mgte

Well, if it's a 7M-GE, then it's impossible for it to be out of a Supra, since Supras in Japan never came with the 7M-GE. Jeff

    US vs JDM 7mgte

I would like to take this time to say that only JDM 7M-GTE's out of Soarers have different oil pressure senders. JDM Supras have the same sender as USDM. Jeff

stock lsd, how do you it has it?

Sounds to me like you have LSD, but it's just worn out. Jeff

    Awesome Ferrari Commercial!

Little bit old now, and I wish it had included more cars in between, but it's super awesome, haha. Jeff

stock lsd, how do you it has it?

    I only listed axle codes for N/A's in that post. Pre-89 Turbos are G315, 89+ Turbos are G305. G = Toyota 8.0" Ring Gear 30 = 3.73:1 Ratio 5 = 4-pinion with LSD Jeff

    ARP Longer Wheel Studs

The stock MKIV/IS300 studs are slightly (1/8-1/4" maybe) longer than MKIII studs. The ARP studs are significantly longer than both. With the exception of some of the 4x4 front ends and 98+ Land Cruisers, 07+ Tundras and 08+ Sequoias, all Toyotas have the same stud size, just with different...

    ARP Longer Wheel Studs

I would like to take this opportunity to say: Not rumour, confirmed. MK3/MK4/IS300 all use the same studs. Jeff

Ok to re-use ARP studs on HG change?

It really depends on the engine and the bolts being used. On the 7M, neither stock bolts nor ARP bolts need to be replaced, as neither a torque-to-yield. That being said, there are procedures to check the stock bolts to ensure they are still within spec. To be on the safe side, I usually do...

    Proper ARP pre load procedure

The instructions that came with my ARP hardware said to do 5 pre-load cycles. This is what I do. Jeff

He was such a cool man, sucks. These things happen, but it's definitely poopy. Jeff

Obsolete MKIII parts; are there any?...yet?

90+ Full-counterbalanced cranks are obsolete, no stock left. Pre-90 6M cranks are still available, 2 in California. Jeff
