- There are several plastic pieces to duct air into the radiator on the sides. If you're missing them, you need them.
- I know several people that have road raced 7M's and been perfectly fine with a stock cooling system.
- Big radiator fits fine with the stock fan, try again.
So you removed the cat that doesn't get clogged and kept the one that does...
Regardless, it's easy to trick the second O2 sensor, but it's illegal to do so, so I won't spread that knowledge.
Not normal for your radio to not work. It changes the shift points allowing faster acceleration in PWR mode. It will hold gears longer and also downshift faster and farther then in the other mode.
Keep in mind the 1JZ had a larger intercooler than the 7M. Makes more power out of a smaller motor...
Personally I wouldn't use meth for that level of protection. Meth is good when you have safeguards (i.e. you're running it for a high boost setting and if you don't have flow it drops boost...
Short term, not good for the water pump bearings. Long term, have fun with corrosion... Coolant in the cooling system is used for more than just antifreeze.
Would be safer to just use solid aluminum spacers to solidly mounts the subframes. Tack welds won't have the same suface area and if/when things move, the tacks might tear holes in stuff imho.
Undertray is important at high speeds (i.e. road racing) There's a lot of plastic pieces on the front that funnel air to the radiator...if they're missing guess where the air isn't going.
High speeds, the fan isn't doing anything anyway. At lower speeds is where you need the fan, but what...
