Is it true this is a sort of sportier mode? what exactly does it do. not "it makes you go faster" but how does it work. and is it normal for your radio to not work when you activate it?thanks for all the help!

Not normal for your radio to not work. It changes the shift points allowing faster acceleration in PWR mode. It will hold gears longer and also downshift faster and farther then in the other mode.
