getting $1000 worth of wheels across the boarder is going to cost you another $200 in shipping and $200 in brokerage.
shipping from canada will cost under $60.
it was a much cleaner install on the manifold than the mk3 valve....and the specs "looked" the same as per the TSRMs. I looked closer yesterday and there were a few differences. Oh well, shit happens.
as long as the pulley on the pump is the same size, you are good to go. If they are different sizes, swap the pulley from your old pump to the new one.
did you change anything else aside from the gauge?
how does the car run? If nothing is out of the ordinary, chances are it could be the gauge. I'd test the gauge to verify.
fill the hole with grease
find a bolt/dowel that fits snugly in the hole
fill it with more grease...and then some more.
hit the bolt/dowel with a hammer - hydraulic action will press the bearing out. (you will have to add more grease as the bearing comes out)
There is not a lot of use fighting the ecu in closed loop operation. Are you actually seeing a lean condition, or are you attempting to fix a problem that might not be there?
