I'm doing the upgrade to a 1 piece 3" alu driveshaft and I'm wondering if you can or should re-use the bolts at the joints or if you should use new like with the flywheel bolts?

The old ones could be quite stressed and fatigued. Give the a nice retirement. Think of how much it costs to get news ones and it's a no brainer. Use a medium/light strength loctite compound.

re-use if they are in decent shape. if there is excessive corrosion/rounding of the nuts that prevents proper torquing, replace.
