However, the if you're going to be removing/replacing the turbo, pull the lines from the block. I'm with Poodles- that gasket isn't something you want to mess up installing.
^ Well, you could get past that with a good quality, high CFM electric fan. However, I see no point in doing this. You'd have to section off the back of the car from the cockpit anyway, otherwise it'd be like your heater on 10x the amount the heatercore can produce. LOL.
You said you see a green connector hanging, that's likely the KS connector. You could continuity check it before reconnecting it, or just slap it back on and hope for the best. I'd prefer to test the wires first, though.
