ok i bought my supra about 3 weeks ago and i finally found out that my knock sensor is unplugged. theres a lil green connector hanging near my starter. i cant seem to find the plug from the harness... can someone tell me where to locate that plug? ive searched for it and all ive found was how to rewire them. idk if mine needs rewiring yet. id like to see if the connector is still there and just wasnt hooked up. and also theres 2 on a 7mgte correct? wheres the other sensor on the motor?

If you mean two knock sensors then it's Just in font of the one by the starter about where cyl 2 is, very easy to find, especially if the alt is off

You said you see a green connector hanging, that's likely the KS connector. You could continuity check it before reconnecting it, or just slap it back on and hope for the best. I'd prefer to test the wires first, though.

You have a pre-89 so you'll have to remove/pivot the starter to get to the rear KS....so might as well do that now, once you do I bet you'll see it.
