It's an old 3 channel system, so of course a more modern system would work better. As a general rule, ABS sucks when trying to stop on loose surfaces, as locking the wheels stops the vehicle faster as they wheels will dig in (this is the rare occasion when ABS is worse).
On your question of...
They don't function like a normal bulb in how they spread light. Some housings have reflectors that work well with them, others do not...ours falls under the "does not work well" category.
Not JDM tails, they're much too dark.
Removing nightshade is a BITCH. Usually has to be sanded off as it's a tinted clear coat but it also seems to dye the existing plastic as well.
Also, if you're using drop in LED's in the tails, don't. Our lights don't work well with them at all. Only...
None of that is going to prevent crank walk. The thrust bearings aren't force fed oil like the other bearings in the engine. The only true way to prevent it is a multiplate.
You're simply lucky. Known a lot of people that destroyed their motors with that PP and the hell they went through...
Had to freshen up a bit on this thread as it's so old.
If you're locking the fronts, your tires aren't good enough. Front bias is a good thing as if you lock up the rears, you're going ass first into what you're trying not to hit.
Gonna disagree here. The tinted cap on top of the sensor can break off leaving just the sensor. Without the cap, if it's daytime, you're freezing.
If he has the cover on it, yeah, not his issue of course, but it's a very easy thing to check.
- Ignore the AFM screw
- Yes, temp sensor could be an issue (there's 5 of them, which one are you looking at?) Easily diagnosed, disconnect it or the cold start injector.
Short answer: No.
Long answer: A kit is not a retrofit. You'll look like every other douchebag in his truck glaring people to death with your idiotic blue headlights. Quality halogen or quality HID projector retrofit, there is no in between.
Normal driving means low load, which that's a high temp for a low load on 99% of modern engines (especially ones with a coolant based oil cooler system). Many cars are significantly lower than that as well.
Water evaporates off well below it's boiling point...
Keep in mind oil temp SHOULD go...
