Has anyone tried these CX Racing engine brackets?

They'd have to sell a tranny mount, driveshaft, and some way to move the shifter as well... Also, there's a lot of slotted holes and nothing looks very rigid =/

    hydraulic PS??

The pulley size difference is because of PPS/non-PPS and pre and post 89 (pre-89 has a steering dampener, they made the pulley smaller when it was removed to raise the pressure in the system).

    FCD questions

Yeah, the FCD was never meant to be used as a standalone component. It was meant to be used with the whole HKS suite of piggyback components (fyi, people ask why they did this, it's because it's an upgrade path)

    Hose Help!

That hose probably had a bolt or something in it. It's ghetto, but as the good reinforced caps are hard to find, using a short piece of hose with a proper sized bolt works. Also, 89+ cars have a different pipe around the block for RHD or LHD so they don't have that cap anymore.

Cold start missfire 2000rpm with video

IIRC ignition timing is retarded during cold start and it's pretty harsh to the ignition system. Have you looked into the coils/wires/plugs?

r154 clutch release hub kit??were to get one?

driftmotion is just selling the set of parts from the dealer instead of you having to piece the part numbers together. Not a bad thing if you don't have a good dealer near you. Also, new parts are best in the assembly (since failure of the hub is such a fun fix...hope you like dropping the tranny)

Supra + Faye = Love. My first build thread. (beware, picture heavy...)

Love the people here saying they can drive their car on ice... If a damn TANK can't drive on ice, you can't. Only way to drive on ice is with aired down studded tires and very slowly...

My quest for 500whp under 2500 bucks

The issue is that, to steal IJ's line, you're building a grenade. It's an unknown variable that if it lets go WILL do major engine damage. Given the nature of it, it's going to likely pop during high RPM when pressure is highest. No oil pressure at high RPM = BOOM

My quest for 500whp under 2500 bucks

Here, I'll save you some money: Sell the LIPP fuel rail as it's not needed at all for that power level. IIRC Duane is running a stock rail with dual feeds at around 1000HP...

Apropos of nothing whatsoever, anyone ever neglect to secure their targa top?

It's possible it could be tweaked, but inspect all the fasteners and the mating surfaces (the area around the front bolts is the important one)

Apropos of nothing whatsoever, anyone ever neglect to secure their targa top?

Inspect the fasteners and the threads of where they screw. I used antisieze on mine as well. Or it could be you're installing it wrong :) Install it right :) Shouldn't have to do that... Proper procedure is tightening the back two first (doesn't really matter which order on the back)...

    guitars .... value

Keep in mind there is a pretty big market of fake vintage gear out there. Most vintage gear isn't all it's cracked up to be either. As a general rule, they're not as "reliable" as a modern guitar (tuning, staying in tune, snapping strings, warped necks, etc). My brother is pretty big into...

Apropos of nothing whatsoever, anyone ever neglect to secure their targa top?

Nope, never had it happen. This is also why they put the safety latch on the MKIV's targa :)

    Arp headstud free spinning

They're cheap, so no, don't see how they're way over the top. They also don't stress the block threads as much which is important on an older engine that's getting harder and harder to replace...

    Un level stance

Worn/blown shocks or bushing bolts tightened in the wrong position. Or something is tweaked in the chassis.

    Arp headstud free spinning

Studs have better and more consistent clamping force, so they're still an upgrade. Also when installed correctly, they load the block better and have a lower risk of stripping or cracking the block. Ultimately, they're better in every way here... The bottom part of the threads is usually...
