It sucks, don't use it. Log the o2 feedback value vs load/RPM and make incremental changes to the fuel table yourself.
Having O2 feedback turned on with a good desired A/F ratio table is a good idea, but limit it to +- about 10% adjustment. Then make incremental changes to the fuel map thru...
For some reason I thought the AEM CDI could control the coils directly, without an igniter - maybe a different part number? You can always run any type of CDI ignition amplifier with the DH61 - follow my instructions to set up the DH61, then use the CDI wiring diagrams to hooke it up between...
You should be able to make the CDI control the IS300 coil packs without using the stock ignitor or a DH61, as the CDI can function as a stand alone 3 channel ignitor, as opposed to amplifier only boxes like the HKS Twinpower. The setup will be similar, but you will pick the AEM CDI option in...
I would triple check all the ignition settings, especially that you used the coil wizard etc. as I explained. Also don't forget to check the base timing.
He has a trigger wheel mounted to the front of the intake cam gear. I think it is a custom piece. Required as the Motec EMS needs a hall effect style pickup.
Is there a V2 AEM avaliable for the 7M now? You can always set it up to use the stock CPS, even if it is a universal box.
Injector phasing should be purely a function of engine RPM. I run zero at idle, up to around 70 degrees at 6750. Do you have the phasing set to inject over open valves?
You in Calgary? Talk to a guy named Toma.

If you get an AEM, I can help you with the initial setup etc. and then you can take it to him for fine tuning.
Also we have a local forum here www.supraclub.ca
Ditch the whole piggyback and use a standalone that can run the engine using speed-density metering (using manifold air pressure and temperature instead of an AFM)
an AEM is one option. See my post on what kind of igniter to use in this forum.
I really don't want to get into modifying peoples cal files for them. The instructions for setting it up in the AEM are very simple - easier than actually wiring in the igniter.
To use pencil coils, you need a matching ignitor that has at least 6 channels (one for each coil). Alternatively you can set it up with a 3 channel ignitor in waste fire mode, but it needs to be an ignitor that is compatible with the pencil coils. the DH61 should on be used with the 7MGTE or...
Any 3 channel should work, but it might not drive the stock tach properly, and the dwell might not be correct for the coils you are using. This guide only covers using the DH61 to drive 2JZ-GE or 7M-GTE wastefire coils. If you are using the 300ZX coils, and can get the tach to work, it is an...
