AEM EMS No RPM reading

hey guys,

I am using a series 2 box on the 7m. I was testing out the sync during cranking and noticed I don't have any rpm reading but the ems says it's sync'ed. I'm reading 0-1 cam tooth count and sometimes 0-1 crank count.

The question is, why am I not able to get rpm?

Havent used the series 2 yet - didn't know they had it for 7M? or is it a universal model?

You'll want to check the crank trigger setup for sure.

no they don't have one for the 7m yet. i heard aem is in beta testing for a pnp unit though. i am using the 30-6050 honda box. so far, the sensors such as iat, tps, coolant temp, and map are reading correctly. I have my crank trigger settings to falling edge which i believe should be right? mag sensitivity was 6krpm for high and low, and i changed it to 1900 and 1600 high and low respectively. The jumpers in the box are set for mag pickup. I was reading on SF, looks like someone was having issues with a v1 tt box on a 7m with the cps. supposedly, there's not enough voltage output from the cps to trigger the box. I am guessing that is the issue.
