Yepp. I swapped back to my n/a cluster, swapped out the turbo RPM gauge into it and now everything works perfectly.. but that doesnt really help you out. :(
Not sure about removing the starter. I think if I remember correctly, on the 89+ cars you have to remove the starter. I didnt have to on my 86.5 though. Also, make sure you have a multimeter to check for continuity between the wire running to the knock sensor and the ground wire.. and I found it...

Anyways, I didnt have to much time today but i did get around to taking off just the lower IC pipe, the one running to the turbo.. It was nice and dry inside. Do I HAVE to take the IC out to verify if its the turbo or not?
I will be checking tonight and give an update. If there is no oil in the IC.. that means its my valve seals? How big of a job is it replacing them?
