Sorry, I dropped in a 7mgte along with a r154 tranny. Id rather not blow up my w58. :icon_bigg The r154 driveshaft wouldnt slide onto the w58 output shaft at all because of the spline difference correct?

It has 23 splines. Counted and re-counted it. Fits perfect for the first 2 inches.

Okay.. So I did a GE to GTE swap.. blah blah. Anyways, I got a r154 driveshaft but there's a problem.. When I go and slide the slip yoke onto the output shaft on the transmission, it will slide on approx 2inches and stop going in any farther. If I try to ram it in, it seems to hit somthing...

So what would be stopping it from going in? Will i have to buy a new exstension housing for my tranny? thanks

Ive searched, but I am just wondering if the diameter of the driveshaft yokes on the auto and r154 are the same.. or if the auto one has a larger diameter. I got the wrong drive shaft for my car (its to short) so im assuming its the auto one, but it will not slide in any farther than 2" on to...

Well atleast I he said it was TT when i talked to him along time ago? Unless its another guy, but the gtst's are pretty slow. I beat another one last night on the way home from work, had a car and a half on him by the time I shifted into 3rd. Who knows, maybe no one knows how to drive? :nono:

The wierd thing is.. When I fixed my knock sensors (did my re-wire), code 51 dissapeared with it.. Which I thought was kind of wierd. Ill see what she wants to do today lol. Going to do a compression test too. Im going to go over my pipes and check for loose wires.
