Well i'll be up in the Rancho Cucamonga area in a few weeks for College so probably I can stop by and if i can afford it and if it works, you can help me do the installation.

I messed around a little more with it today. I checked that I had all the right outputs going to the correct cylinders. Checked for good 12v ignition power. Grounded both units to the origional mounting bracket. Got it to run but it's a bad idle like few coil wires were in the wrong order. I tried several different combinations but no luck. Next step is to look at the inputs with the scope. I have a feeling the voltage pulses are less then 5v and are causing the problems. The 1j coils are actually a little higher impedance then the stock 7m coilpack. I don't think each ignitor should have any problem running 3 of them since I already know one ignitor can run all 6. I'm still confident I can make it work. Stay tuned...

Anyone want to buy a used 7m coilpack and ngk wires?

I don't need them anymore because IT FUCKIN WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :aigo: :icon_bigg :love: :naughty: :icon_surp :evil2: :aigo: :naughty: :biglaugh:

I now have two 7m-gte ignitors running a set of 1j coils and it works GOOD!
I have a little better idle, no spark plug wires to mess with and a cleaner engine bay. I really don't care how much power you can make on the 7m coilpack, I wanted a cop setup for the simplicity, if nothing else. Now spark plug changes will be a lot easier too. I have been thinking about putting a plug and play kit together for sale but I want to put a few thousand miles on this to make sure there are no issues. I have already tested it at 18psi on pump gas with no pinging or hesitation at all. It actually seems to be a little bit more responsive. That is all you can expect from an ignition system upgrade, a small difference. And I think I am the first ever to do this without an expensive MSD or HKS adaptor. You can not just parallel two ignitors like I origionally thought. There is a lot more involved then that. I don't want to give away any secrets...
