IF you have a bad ground cable on your car it will die. Getting power is only have of an electrical problem you need a good ground. especially since the coils and injectors have a switching ground that tells it to fire. A way to test it is to get a jumper cable and attach only the neg side to...
Put about a table spoon of oil in each cylinder and rerun the test. If it jumps up dramatically, especially 2 and 6, its the rings. I would run a leakdown test as well if you have the tools or know someone that does.
I was repairing my o2 sensor wire at my school and when I went to pull out of the bay my power steering was almost gone. I say almost because its not as hard to turn it as the engine is off. So what could have happened? I took it on the freeway today and it felt normal but when I got off it was...
I will be installing a ebay 12x24x3 core IC and 2.5 hard pipes. I thought it would be more than 20 psi though. A stock ct is good for 15 and Ive heard of people running 22 on a 57 trim so I thought the 60-1 would be good to 25 or so. I guess I was wrong.
you should let the car ssit for 24 hours with the battery disconnected to disarm the airbag. Unless these have the marked harness that you can disconnect under the dash. I dont know for sure as mine has no airbags. Leave battery off when connecting it though as it could go off then as well.
Thanks for your guys help. My car is very low now and handles like a BMW. One last question. How much does 4 89+ springs and tems shocks go for? 4 tems motors? I want to sell them but dont know how much to ask.
I removed the 3 nuts on the top and the one on the bottom but it looks like you have to remove the upper contrlo arm to get them out. I think Im just overcomplicating this but its really stuck.
I am replacing the springs and struts on my car ans I ran into a snag. How do you guys remove the shock from the car? everything is off and the spring assembly is just flaoting there. Do I have to disassemble the spring and strut assembly to remove it? Or is there another way. Any help is...
My nova used to burn fuses like that withs it fan. It has a van from some volvo turbo and when I went to a relay and circuit breaker. Then it started frying relays so I wired two in parralel and never had a broblem again. you can get the kit from painless for $30 IIRC.
I pulled a daigram from all data and it said its an a/c magnetic clutch relay located on the pass side. I jumped them both and one fan turned on so I figured the other was for the clutch.
I know what sensors your talking about but thats not what I wass looking for. The connectors Im talking about have a 5 blade female plug that looks like a relay goes to them. I believe one is the clutch relay that goes to the high pressure switch you were talking about.
do you happen to have a picture? Is it just an end terminal that a relay plugs into, or does it have some more wires coming out from it the previous owner might have ripped out?
I was wondering if anybody has some pictures of tha pass. side by the intake. I see two loose connectors and am wondering what they are for? Does it control the A/C? Im trying to get it working but i dont have power to the clutch so Ill keep looking.
I got those numbers from using the advance dial on the timing gun itself to line the marks up on the 0 mark. I dont think it was accurate at all thats why I wanted to double check it with my gun that I know works (I was at school and used their gun at the time). When I first put the light on it...
