What rpm would you see full boost?

Maybe, the hp seems a little low for that size turbo but Im exploring my options right now.

What about a centerforce dual friction? They are very smooth to operate and can hold a lot of power. It says they hold 90% more power than stock.

The thing is if your building a high hp car you dont need a low first gear. Thats why drag racers use the powerglide plus it uses a lot less horsepower. You dont really need an overdrive. If its a high hp car its just one of the trade offs you learn to put up with.

The only problem with the 4l80e is you need a computer to run it. Also, I think you would have to modify the tunnel in our cars because it is a very wide tranny.

The 700r is a costly tranny to build. First gear is very weak in them. If you want overdrive theres a gear vendors over/under drive system. It gives you the same 4th gear ratio as the 700r but you have the ability to split geras so you have a 6speed auto that wil keep you in your power range longer.

FMIC and hard pipes are smog legal as long as your car is a factory turbo. The weirdest thing I have heard is that those silicone vaccum hoses are not legal. A regular shop may not get you for that but I was friends with the state referee here and he told me that.

Well the headgasket did blow. It blew between 4 and 5 for sure and I think in the water jacket too. Also 5 and 6 was getting ready to blow. I cant believe it took me only 5 hrs to pull the head. Is that a record:biglaugh:?
