I went to install my PTE 680cc injectors today and noticed something unusual. The o-ring on the top to the fuel rail fits snug but the bottom one to the head is very loose.Theres a about 1mm of play in it. Is there a special o-ring Im supposed to use or will it be fine when I bolt it on?
Does it matter which way you solder the wires together when istallin injector clips? If so which colors are positive and negative? My injectors clips wires are all white so I cant tell. These are PTE 680cc if it matters.
In California intake manifolds are considered a grey area. It can be any design you want as long as it has all the factory smog equipment atached to it. I would think it would be the same for Arizona since Califonria has some of the toughest smog laws.
I got prgressive insurance on all my stuff and I pay 850 a year. I have 1 ticket-53 in a 25 scool zone on a provisional license with 2 people in the car and an accident in my nova (not my fault but still on my record). I have the supra, my nova, and a bike.
My breaker bar is 20" and my pipe is 36''. Withe the overlapping its a total of 48" with all my strength. It wasnt coming off.
Yes I have my starter but I would perfer not to do it that way.
I tried my breaker bar with a pipe on it but I couldnt get it. I had the car in 5th( manual tranny) and the ebrake on as hard as I could. It wasnt budging. My manual says its torqued to 194 ft-lbs:aigo:. what were they thinking. All the engines Ive ever done were between 50-80 ft-lbs.
Thanks cryoslash. Thats waht I thought but just wanted to make sure. My Impact cant get it off so Ill take it to my work where I got my BIG impact gun.
I was wondering what you guys with big turbos do to clear the evap canister. I got a precision 67 and the exhaust housing hits the canister bracket. I was thinking of trimming the bracket but I still need my spacer to clear the #3 runner to make sure. Do you just get rid of it? Do you relocate...
I was wondering if the crank pulley/balancer bolt is a right hand or left hand thread? I need to take mine off but cant remember which way it comes off.
I was not aware that the maft pro can adjust timing. I thought it could only moniter it. If I adjust timing through the maft pro will it also affect it in closed loop or would the computer take control and override my changes?
Yes, there will be a walboro (maybe 2) and a AFPR, but I was just worried about it idling bad because it couldnt control the large injectors. I dont really want to use 550's because that would be pushing them past the recomended duty cycle, but I know the computer can handle those with the lex afm.
Can the stock computer handle 680cc injectors in closed loop? I will use a safc for my tuning but the computer will compensate for my changes is my understanding. I will be running a sp67 and rather not go to a standalone yet. Will the maft pro handle these better then the lex and a safc?
Where do you guys get your injector clips? I can get some rc injectors without them and I know they wont fit in the stock ones. Can you guys help me out?
since you said it levels off at higher speeds it is most likely a u-joint or a motor mount. If it were the driveshaft it would get worse the faster you go.
