Blow into the boost line (NC) and see if there is any resistance(with COM off)? it shouldn't flow at all. I bet the solenoid is bad. COM and NO should flow freely.
External 2 port wastegates are designed to bleed pressure into the top of the wastegate to assist the spring to boost higher.
That will depend on your tune.
But mechanically the aem ems will do all the stock ecu does. Its up to the tuner to get it working (meaning vsvs for EGR, Evap, Fuel pressure, fuel pump, fuel pump voltage, etc)
Just throwing the numbers out there. A lot of people think TTC is slow, and just wanted to show its not tooooo bad (for the power it is, but not like 4200 with the 2nd turbo comes in in sequential)
Video doesn't work, I'm going to say fuel cut though.
If its the plugs/coils You'd have the missfire around peak torque (peak cyl pressure, hardest to spark) and unless you have major boost creep it wouldn't be 6k+.
But its not a bad vacline or source or the car would go lean. If you look at his log posted it clearly shows the injector duty dropping with the boost. If this actually happened the car would go lean, and it isn't verified by jay him self and the dyno.
Its a problem with the Stinger logger...
Itll be fine, even on stock cam gears.
HKS has really good QC and you wont have much issues at all. Infact Darin @ titan motorsports (ran a 8.38 iirc 6spd) does not have cam gears, he has the stock gears on his car (hks280s i think?)
What timing were you running with the dyno? Thats about where I thought my car was running with the 67 + cams on the aem. I'll look at my map again tonight, but I think I was running ~ 14* of timing.
You're talking about 20 psi @ 6500 rpms correct? I assume so, I even doubt that will be possible. But if you weld the wastegate shut so ALL exhaust gas passes through the turbine I think it will make 20psi @ 6500 rpms. The exhaust back pressure will probably be 20:1 and thus the flow through the...
