Truth. For what it's worth, with around 350rwhp, possibly a bit more, I could easily break my 275/40/r17 Falken Azenis RT-615's loose and leave some nice black patches.
Cornering ability/lateral grip= wide tires.
Straight line traction= sidewall flex/taller profile.
In a nutshell, anyway...
Yessir, though not a total repost. I posted a vid in the Other Cars forum (where this is about to get moved to), and this video had a lot of the other one in it, as can be seen here:

Thread moved, title fixed.
Um, no. Pretty much ALL OBX products for our cars suck. I wouldn't be caught dead with that crap on my car. It's NOT the same stuff. Not at all. :nono:
I'm with this guy.
Some do, some don't from what I hear. I never had stock suspension with the MKIV TT's.
Pretty easy. Follow Keith's directions. :) And in addition to the plastic caps, put a dab of grease on there, too.
I just towed a Supra chassis (everything but the motor) a bit over 2 hours at 70mph in a '94 Ford F350. The Supra was strapped securely to my tow dolly. No issues at all, no fishtailing, nothing.
That truck rides like a rock, though. :(
Welcome to SM. :) Check out the build section here, there are lots of people pushing for that kind of power. Their modification lists will give you an idea of what you need to do. :)
I don't remember, LOL. It's been so long.
I'm fairly certain that there are bolt heads on there that are connected to the shock. Unbolt them. I'd link you to the EPC, but I'm at work, and cygnus is blocked. :(
When I bought aftermarket pieces from the parts store, I got the ones that pivot on the ball. They're better, in my opinion, as they're easier to remove so you can tie the hood at 90*. Makes working in the back of the engine bay much easier. ;)
If you search that question, you'll find lots of locked threads with the exact same answer. It's not worth the effort, and it only shifts the powerband. You'll choke the motor up top. GTE's have GTE cams for a reason. ;)
This has been discussed a million times, but here's a good link:
http://www.4cefed.com/ - look under turbo conversion.
And same for you, but here's a good link for N/A->T conversions:
