Check the gear oil level, too. On my first w58, the rear seal leaked gear oil only while moving. I never had a drop of oil on the ground from my car. It was the middle of winter, and as such, I couldn't smell the gear oil as it leaked out and stuck to the bottom of my car. One cold winter day...

I was running 255/40 on the front, 275/40 on the rear of MKIV TT rims. No spacers. I only had to adjust the steering stops a tiny bit to prevent rim scrape. Lowered on Eibach Pro Kit and Koni Yellows. No spacers.

Why?. It's useless anyway...

Kurt! :) Strut tower bars do nothing on these cars except add weight and look pretty, if that's your thing. You can thank awesome double wishbone suspension for that!

I just chiseled my j-tube off the plate, ground it down, paint, done. :) Looks just like new. ;)

Toyota used the same heater core in several different vehicles, only changing the two pipes after the core between vehicles. That's why they're there.

No problem. Not the best pic, but you can see on the bottom here, there's just enough off the bottom to get the pump sock/filter screen on there. No room (or barb) to clamp a hose to)
