I know all motors differ, I was just saying the one I got from them was great. I rebuilt it nontheless but crank was fine, rods were fine and none of the bearings where abnormally worn. Didn't have a BHG or much blowby either. -Chris

I purchased my motor through Soshin USA, they are a great company. It was hassle free and the motor was in amazing shape! They clean their motors really well too. The motor arrived at my house within the week of ordering it IIRC. A lot of people recommend Jarco, also. That's a great company...

I keep the negitive wire off of the battery when I'm working on it, since I'm still not driving it lol. I couldn't hear the fuel pump working when I jumpered with the diag box, but then again it should be cleaned the grease is all gummed up in it. What would I clean that with, standard...

Just have them weld in a piece 3" long of whatever diameter your exhaust system is. Preferably the test pipe, least expensive and easily replaced over the Greddy catback and HKS dp. -Chris

I took the bolts off the top? :dunno: Centimeter by centimeter it finally came finger loose, just takes a good whack to get the nut started. Bottom wouldn't come off for anything. -Chris

Sorry, I forgot to add while doing my gauges I hooked them all up to a distribution block (mini fuse box) and each wire is going through its own 15 amp fuse. JJ - I'm no electrician but I thought this out a little bit while looking over the writeup and figured adding in fuses to each wire...

I used a relay for my gauges, power and ground to battery and since I wanted my gauges to come on when the car turned on (not the lights) I used a tester light to find a wire behind the center counsel the came on when the keys were on ACC but the motor was not actually on. I can't remember...

When I bought my car it has Borla exhaust on it, probably 2.5" I haven't driven it yet but it looks stock-like, most likely pretty quiet. I just ordered 10' of 3" stainless tubing, a u-bend, muffler, flex pipe and resonator so I won't be needing the Borla anymore if you want it lol. -Chris

Correct, gauge with all the different faces, Bosch sensor and harness and harness for power/lighting. And the weld-in bung for the 02 sensor. -Chris

Yikes, and there are reliability issues with 60-1 upgraded CT26...It wasn't meant for a wheel anywhere near that extreme, the shaft is too small and it would most likely blow up. Just my $.02 -Chris
