I'm sorry but that made me laugh really hard, the slow-motion triple back flip action. :offwall:
But try checkin the pan like MDC said, maybe run some oil through it to help it if it got stuck on its way...to the olympics :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
I'm pretty positive, it was hard to hear the fuel. But after I did that I loosened the nut for the fuel feed line to the FPR and it sprayed out as if it was still under pressure. So I'm sure the fuel pump is working, but why won't it start? I'll try putting the other coilpack back on and test...
Haha those commercials are great. I'm just worried about the straps being too rusted or the bolts snapping. I guess I'm headed to one of the vendors for a Walbro 255...But I could still hear fuel being pushed through the rail when I jumpered fp and B+, I think, it was really quiet.
I'm running the VPC on my car, I switched MAP sensors and coilpacks, cleaned the gas off the plugs (from before, it was running rich) still no fire. I'm doing 3p's checklist now, I'll be back with the results. I don't want to put in a fuel pump :-(
"so leaving it as-is makes me bored and my wallet fat"
I'll trade you wallets :naughty:
Just take their advice and crack each loose and retorque it to the proper spec. It will hold for a while until you do something to blow it.
Do it. Same scenario, my car had a BHG, 77k orig. miles, an HKS turbo, VPC, EVC, tems, 5speed for $1,000 and I jumped all over that. Hows the body besides the hood? Any rust? How many miles?
Well again with my previous question, would a rebuild on a motor that may have been underwater run fine? I can't see why not but what do you think. Or should we just do a stock rebuild on my 7M :icon_bigg
Well I think he was looking for a 240Z in particular, not the 280ZX. There is one local that I can think of, and it is complete crap. Body is rusted, there is like no paint on it and it looks horrible, and he wanted to buy that one. He said he's starting to like it. I don't think he would...
Well I've got my Supra now but my friend now wants a Datsun (always following in my footsteps :icon_roll ) He had been looking at 240Zs too and I told him about this 280ZX and he was sort of half way interested. I told him whatever motor he puts in it I'd be willing to rebuild since he isn't as...
Roughly a year ago I had my '95 Z28. I loved that car but it was getting expensive and I decided to part with it. Soon after that I knew I wanted to build something, and always loved Datsuns. I'd love to have a 240z, and would search for them all around.
