    my overheating issue

Have to agree, get a block test, JJ I believe said that there is a way to use a pool water test kit. Maybe He'll chime in and explain what chemicals you use out of the test kit. :)

    my overheating issue

160 is kind of low, I'd use at least the 180 or 195. The coolant has to be going somewere, if it's not leaking it is probably burning it. Notice any on the passenger side floor?

Car died, now won't start. no power... please help

Take the battery too, a couple of dead cells it won't hold a charge, that's what it sounds like to me more so than the alternator.

Timing, Timing, and More $)(#&)(#&$_(%#_($* Timing

If your TDC is at +10 degrees then stock timing should be set at +20 on yours, might be a guess, the gauge only shows +15.

I don't really understand how the crank pulley is off. Do you mean that the key was messed up and you have it just bolted on? I don't think that it will stay in place were it's suppose to be. The key way is what keeps it in place, the bolt holds it on. Check for TDC with the pencil. Then you...

Engine cutting out at 4000 rpm!

Yep, if you can't get it within specs then change it. I'd check the timing too. (all of it) :)

Timing, Timing, and More $)(#&)(#&$_(%#_($* Timing

Take out the #1 plug and put a pencil in the hole. Slowly turn the crank and watch the pencil until it stops going up, check your mark and it shoud be on the "O". The rotor should be pointing at #1 plug wire and the cam gears should be lined up on the marks. You'll have to check the rotor as you...

That sure sounds like a timing problem to me, or might have a problem with the distributor, new or rebuilt? Have you checked your firing order?

Engine cutting out at 4000 rpm!

Yes I meant all of it :) If the timing belt was put on and you didn't turn it a couple of revolutions and check your marks again they could be off.

    Radiator nightmare....!!!!

IJ's such a good teacher :) Like he said, do what you got to do to get it off. Putting it back on is a little easier. And like IJ said you need to find out if you have a BHG before you replace anything else. That car has been seriously neglected.

7M wont start on own power

Check all your grounds, the ones on the head and block, and clean them. Not saying that is it but it's best to start with the simple things instead of throwing parts at it. Have you checked for codes?http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/TechTips/engine_error_codes.aspx

7M wont start on own power

Check your fan belt for tension, your battery connections, then have the battery checked if those check out OK.

    Wrong plugs?

Maybe I can rephrase, would running a turbo plug, which I think is hotter, cause the tapping? This just happens after it's warm and at idle or at least that is when it is more noticeable.

    Wrong plugs?

After replacing my shattered oil pump drive gear, timing belt, and decided to replace my plugs since I've had them sitting here for 10 months, I have noticed my valves clicking at idle only. What I am wondering is if they gave me the wrong plugs, I have a GE and the plugs I got I had to...

has any one installled a maft pro in a 7mge

It has made a difference in mine and I know CRE has said in his. I haven't been able to dyno mine again to see how much difference. The throttle responce is great. The thing about the Maft-Pro with a wideband is you can tune it yourself. With a GE it is a longer process to tune than with a...
