The connector goes to the oil pressure sending unit like others have said.
The VSV, do you have the vac canister under the manifold, that's were one of the lines goes, another goes to the pipes that mounts to the manifold.
I'd double check the timing, cam marks, crank mark, #1 on TDC, and rotor pointing at #1 wire on the distributor cap. Also is the 3 ground wires connected to the #2 intake manifold?
