    The connector goes to the oil pressure sending unit like others have said. The VSV, do you have the vac canister under the manifold, that's were one of the lines goes, another goes to the pipes that mounts to the manifold.

    I'd double check the timing, cam marks, crank mark, #1 on TDC, and rotor pointing at #1 wire on the distributor cap. Also is the 3 ground wires connected to the #2 intake manifold?

    The PVC system is pretty much straight forward, two tubes from the valve covers to the TB and a larger hose from the crankcase to the valve cover.

    You will have to install a pilot bearing since it was a automatic.

    Yep your valve covers are leaking, I use paper towels, screw driver, rags. Then clean the wires good and might be a good time to change the plugs.

    I had to open up some of the mounting holes on my pacesetter. I believe the OBX has the same problem.

    Did you rotate the motor by hand a couple of turns after you installed the timing belt?

    Overheating issue, searches suggest BHG but I'm not convinced!!!

    Check your coolant hoses that go to the TB. There is also a rubber cap under the exhaust manifold, #6 cyl., that has a habit of blowing.
