switch to turbo electronics, you won't have to deal with crazy tuning and 7mge limitations. It will run as it should and you can run 10 psi safely before you even have to deal with timing retard.
The biggest bang for the buck is to replace the lower section of the header with a full 2.5" pipe. We custom make those for about $150.
The full header has more potential in the top end, but at the top of the powerband. I was able to see the difference in a header vs stock when I attempted...
Brembo blanks are great.
If anyone can supply pictures of the Brembo blanks (and box) for $33 I would be interested. I sell brembo blanks for $69 currently and that is just above cost, I wonder why they are so cheap.
The rotor cracking varies. My old drilled rotors cracked, yet some...
Grim,
It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a moderator who drove an NA. That person would have to have good mod skills and a very THICK skin. But I think it will round out the moderator crew.
I think we often get caught up with turbo and forget that half of the MA70 idea is NA.
If you...
compression and cams will be the key
Now, just a rebuild is already going to raise the compression, because the shop is going to shave the head and block. You rarely see a full rebult 7mge so it is already going to make a hair more power then the rest of the crowd.
The stock cams stop...
We offer downpipes for the 1J manifold.
7M manifolds are next, I was thinking for either, what if we just made it a half downpipe like SP, etc. It would easier to make, then you can just do the lower part yourself?
We use the same flange everyone else does. It has a stock type flange for the block, welded to a -10AN male to accept the drain line.
Same as MDC and others.
Buying bends would certainly be cheaper.
You would spend about $125-150 on the stainless bends, but then you would have to cut them in pieces, tack cut tack cut, etc. In the end you are left with a bunch of welds.
By getting the mandrel bent tubing kit, you are only welding the flanges on...
It's 12mmx1.25mm to -4 adapter. Those are harder to find, so many people will run a more available 12mmx1.25mm to -6, then -6 to -4. It works just as well, just more hardware.
If you want me to send you any pieces, let me know. I have them all now.
Another customer:
This one was also $500 installed. This customer planned to go single, so this piping was made to go through the airbox hole and such that he could easily change to single without re-doing the piping.
Turbo to airbox hole:
airbox hole to IC:
IC to TB pipe...
