Check the green EFI sensor. When that is bad, it can cause stange idle issues. Also check engine codes.

The pacesetter is a bit cheaper, we can modify either. Pretty sure that nobody else has the NA world covered like we do.

The stud holes have to be drilled bigger. The o2 sensor must be relocated. If you plan to make power, the pipe diameter must be upgraded to 2.5" or 3". You can do all this yourself, but we can do it for you if you desire. Final product:

You can buy a short block from Toyota. It comes as an assembly. Runs about $2000. The advantage is you can just go pick it up. A fully rebuilt shortblock from us is in the range of $1500+shipping, by comparison.

Put a vacuum gauge on the egr vac line and drive around to verify that the egr valve is in fact getting VAC.

In this particular case, the stock 1J bov is very small. On top of that, the port that goes to the stock bov is even smaller then the valve (take a look). The ideal setup is to leave the stock one in place, and add a 2nd one near the throttle body.

1G has no BOV, so that is the first order of business.

We have the intake w/ adapter. You can buy that kit from us for $99. You will end up with 2 elements, but that is OK. At some point, a year down the road, or whatever, you will need to replace the element, so you will already have the spare. This is why you should buy from those you know...
