Rev limiter on AEM? It has 2 rev limiters...? Please help!

I don't believe there is a plug and play V2 for the 7M. There is a plug and play V2 for the 2JZ.

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

I rather not stretch it as I am in NY and the roads are horrible as is. I have never stretched a tire before and don't plan to. If it can be done without stretching, cool, if not, then I will have to drop the rim's width. Thanks for your input though! I should have said I really don't want...

Rev limiter on AEM? It has 2 rev limiters...? Please help!

Yes, pffff, noob. :D I know the V2 does as that is what I have to go on my 1JZ. You just go in the settings and adjust it accordingly. I play around with the software to get familiar with it so I can do a decent base tune without touching the timing, just air and fuel mixture. I have seen...

Those ID's will fit the stock rail with adapter? Also, how come you don't get a 1ZZ coil setup? It will be SUPER easy to wire in. Coil, ground, trigger(ground signal). It gives better spark than the stock coils and will eliminate the igniter. Just a suggestion.

General questions for a general thread

He would fly to your area if you contact him and have a few guys that want to tune their cars. You could try to get him to fly out to tune your car but you will have to cover all of the flying and hotel fairs instead of splitting it with a few people.

General questions for a general thread

I have many friends with Justin Nenni tuned cars on AEM V1 and V2 and they start in single digits degree temperatures everytime. ProEFI is good, really good BUT a standalone will only be as good as the tuner tuning it.

    2jzge electric fan temp switch

Tap the upper radiator housing to fit a 1/8th 180 temp switch in the housing then wire it to switch on the relay. If you have to keep asking on how to do this and I don't mean to be a douchebag, but seriously, get a fan clutch. It will be the best cooling setup your can have. There is no need...

Adjusting the power steering pump for lower pressure, has anyone done it?

Ian, wouldn't you want a smaller pulley for more revolutions to make the steering wheel easier to turn or is it less revolutions that make the steering easier to turn?

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

I will be doing a 1ZZ setup, it is cheaper new and I have seen a .030 gap with 30+ PSI on a 6765. If that setup works, good job on finding them!

    2jzge electric fan temp switch

The simplest route is a fan clutch. It is the BEST setup.

Do you have space for a fan clutch? You can tap the upper radiator hose housing.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Nice! Not sure I you covered it, but what belt are you going with? Gates? I have seen the Toyota stock belt hit 1000. If anything, a Gates one does the same.
