    Sway bar Testing

With the whitelines having 3 different stiffness levels, it's hard to go wrong with that choice. I did. BTW, anyone here try out the different levels, and have feedback to report on how they made your car handle?

    Steering rack bushings

The wheels are probably the main cause, but I do know that the bushings are toast. Any other suggestions to stabilize the steering on a car with wide offset rims? Camber? I'm eager to reduce this problem.

Updated: Pics on post #28. Billet turbo with SP Quick spool valve.

What was your rear wheel torque in that vid? Does LPG make way more TQ than gas?

Updated: Pics on post #28. Billet turbo with SP Quick spool valve.

Assuming you had it at the time, I'm sure that a ported head, oversize valves, and cams, will greatly increase both flow and spool over a bone stock head. Also on LPG with huge rwtq? + Motec? My current setup is actually really well balanced. 1st spins, but 2nd gear and up holds traction pretty...

BIG UPS for Forced Performance and this billet turbo!! Last night Duane and I went out to do some datalogging and tuning with the SAFC, aiming for 11-11.3 AFR's. All I can say is this turbo F'ing rocks!!! I'm boosting 15-16 psi on 94 octane pump gas, and full boost hits incredibly fast at...

500 rwhp on stock headgasket and bolts.

What AFR's did you shoot for with this setup? What octane pump gas? Thanks for the info! I just retuned my car with the new billet GT35r last night, and the car is now really quite fast. Very impressive that a 7M with stock internals and ECU can run so well and put out so much power.

Bolt-on Boss bb turbo vs GT35R?

If these bolt-on turbos have a bigger turbine housing and wheel, then they should have the added benefit of holding power (not fading) further up the RPM band. My 57-trim CT26 pulled really hard up to 5400 but power faded after that. I just finished a quick road tune with my new GT35r setup and...

Project Cherry Widebody - Pics and overview thread

I just installed a turbo that is capable of over 600hp. I'll shoot for around 400-450 for now, and do a built engine later to go for 600+. Next week I will tune it, dyno it, and install my big brake kit, and I'm mostly set for the summer. I still plan to upgrade my HID headlights and paint the...

Tuning Question (How much more will a tune do for me)?

After the SAFC, pickup a 57-trim CT26 down the road and you'll be able to hit 350-390hp but you'll likely need a fuel pump/line upgrade.

500 rwhp on stock headgasket and bolts.

Is he on stock internals too? Can you please tell me what the base timing is set to? Does he limit pump gas to 15 psi? I am just about to hit the dyno with my new turbo and I'm wondering how far I could safely push it on my SAFC with 550's and dual walbros. I was thinking 450hp, with the aid of...

Updated: Pics on post #28. Billet turbo with SP Quick spool valve.

The manufacturer recommends a solenoid valve controlled by a hobbs switch or standalone. I opted to use a solenoid and hobbs switch, so the valve opens as quickly as possible. A manual boost controller might have worked, but I wasn't sure if it would open as fast at the set psi. My turbo spools...

    IC piping HOT. bad?

I was thinking of wrapping the IC pipe, to reflect the heat from the exhaust area. Should help prevent the IC pipe heat in the first place.

    IC piping HOT. bad?

I'm just about to re-wrap my pipe. Do you guys figure that reflective aluminized wrap might do better than the usual fiberglass header wrap?

Lol! Until you get traction control and flatten your rear camber, you may be eatin' those words ;)

    Clutch time.... Multi disk clutchs

I'm running an ACT Xtreme PP, and their street disc. I'm not 100% sure but I think I read that they are a 2600lb plate. With a 6 puck I think they are good to 650 tq. I may throw in a HPF bronze disc with my current PP if I need more holding capacity later on. My street disc is as smoooooth...
