Well then I ended up buying a (currently) newly rebuilt 588RWHP 7MGTE mk3 which will go into my MK3 after a few further upgrades (want to take to 700-800)

I will be un-ricing it. Fixing it up and dropping in one of my stock backup 7m's back in and selling it.

Once the weather breaks the fun will begin.

While I am keeping the engine and all such for my MK3, one of my parts cars and the black chassis is going to a local amazing painting owner that we are trading the cars for a mint paint job on my MR2. So, progress is going slow (working on my RN28 and Sequoia currently) but will be at least moving a couple of steps towards process for both of my supra and my MR2.

Well here we are.

Engine came out of the parts car a couple of weeks ago. I have a lot to do to get this where I want it to be, both in cleaning/powder coat/painting/etc and more mods.

Parts car chassis went to my buddy's shop (with the other mk3 chassis to make one good one).

The garage time was fun after all!

From this past weekend:
It may have been in the teens outside yesterday, but I was happily working on the supra in the 60 degree shop for the first winter ever. The fuel tank is fully installed:

It was a good Sunday.

Next up last night:
After looking for the best non ethanol in the area, 91 is the best anyone has. For now, that works. I need to explore future needs.

Once I put the gas in, I tried and forgot the ECD fuse was blown. Replaced that and it fired right up and idled smooth as always.

Excellent, I love to see it. My 3 1/2yr old is starting to ask questions about "the car in the basement." It'll be time to start putting it back together in the next few years I hope.
