I boost no more than 12-14 psi...
I have an AVC-R and I can't lower the boost.For example I set it
at 8 psi and still goes over 13 psi :aigo: I think that the very small
stock actuator/wastegate can't handle this kind of settings, cause I was told that jdm supras/aristos are boost controlled...
Yeh, 100% the oil comes from the turbos....
But what does it mean?
Do the turbos need some rebuilt,or a kind of service?
How can I fix that problem?I find my self cleaning the
engine bay (a part of it) after every 2-3 days :icon_mad:
I have a JDM 2jzgte on my 90 mk3 supra,stock engine...bpu mods!
I see a quite amount of oil...defenately engine oil near the blow of
valve (blitz ssqv bov),and over the bov ofcaurse!
My Greddy oil catch can is 100% clean.I have the car running with
the new 2jz setup for only 3 weeks...
You start scaring me a little with the things you write...:aigo:
I hope that 2jz haven't got that kind of mysterious black outs :sarcasm:
I drive my car almost every 2 days and I go long distance trips to
Germany.
I wouldn't like to have a black out in a strange country during...
Hey,check for codes...Diagnose the check engine light :sarcasm:
Have you got any codes?
Try a good working ECU from a friend....so you know that is working
flawessly.
If the ECU is not the issue...try to throw some pump gasoline into
the intake manifold and see if it fires. If the motor...
How the hell can we be sure that the 2nd turbo kicks and is working
100% ok?
I have boost from 1800 rpms from my 1st turbo, and I can hear it very
loud and clear. Also the car pushes very nice with low end torque which
is provided fr the 1st turbo.
But when I pass the 4000-4200 rpms I don't...
The ecu you got there,is from Aristo 2jzgte.It doesn't have A/T or
M/T label cause is from Aristo, and Aristo vehicles have only auto
transmissions....
It will work fine though.Trust me.I got a mk3 90' with a 2jzgte
from Aristo and works great
Aaaa....The only thing I hate on the R-154 trans is it's 5th gear!
It is to long :icon_evil
And it takes time to fill up the 5th gear till the redline, which will
never hit.
By the way, is there anyone that hit redline with an R-154 trans
and 3.73 diff ???
I got a 2jzgte with R-154 and oem 3.73 LSD.
I think it's the best. And it's the longest differential gear set
we can get on our cars.
To tell you the true....I would like a lower diff gear than 3.73,
something like 3.5 :biglaugh:
The N/A mkIV supra had a 3.5 with the W58 trans.Do you...
Finished the 2jzgte swap and 99% of the project is ok!
But I don't have power steering assistance :icon_evil
How the hell that happened?
Put the 2jz powersteering reservoir.After I made a custom
pressure hose from the pump to the steering gear housing. And
last,I send the return hose from...
No...I don't get any codes. No check engine light. Is there a way to read
the codes...if any? I knew what to do on the 7M...
Yes I do have a very unrestricted exhaust (3'downpipe-3' testpipe and
80mm Blitz Nur catback system,no Y pipe.)
No,it isn't cutting while driving,only when I try to...
I went to get my downpipe fixed for the 2jzgte swap. Then finally I
drove my 2jz mk3 car after 5 months! But I couldn't enjoy it at all
I have a strange high idle! It goes from 1500 rpm to like 1800 rpm...:aigo:
Like a heartbeat or something.Like some cars with heavy engine mods...
Yes pin 6 on TCCS ECU E10 plug. And pin 52 on the big gray aristo's plug,
for the diagnosis check box (wire to wire connection).
I don't know what else could it be :aigo:
I wish I could help you more...
..But I think is something that has to do with 'proper power connections'
so you...
No ! The B1 pin 9 B/O (thin wire) goes to pin 1 B/O on E10...ok,
but the B1 pin 14 B/O (thick wire) goes to pin 22 on the big junction Aristo grey plug, which is a thick wire to !!!
It is the +12v IGN for ignitor, injectors etc.!!! It is the power source to the
engine itself :icon_bigg
That's...
Did you connect the E10 pin 24 EFI Main relay to the B/O wire on
the C1 plug?
Check on E10 plug the pin 1 B/O IGN switch...is connected properly?
Does the check engine light comes on before you start the engine?
Have you pluged correctly the E9 ecu double plug? I didn't...on my
first...
The circuit opening relay which controls the fuel pump relay gets power
from B/R wire located on B1 plug on MA70! Don't remember the pin,but it is
the THICK B/R wire !!! The other B/R wire which you still find it on the same
B1 plug is a THIN one,and is a signal for the 7m's diagnosis check...
Good idea,remove the alarm system...
The fuel pump should stop working the moment you turn the key off!
Even if you turn it over the ACC mode it shouldn't work. The pump should
get it's power from the circuit opening relay through fuel pump relay. So
it gets a +12V from B/R wire like the E10...
