I did clean them up first, and after I sprayed softly some light silver paint.
Just to shine a little bit,but the result was outstanding...Never expected
to look so nice and clean. Is that your 2jz engine in the avatar? It looks
clean also...
Next day I will post some more pictures.
I'll show you the interior of the supra and I will take a close picture
of the short shifter...:sarcasm: It feels nice and you really make faster
shifts. The MK1 (mookeeh) from ebay is nice and ''cool''.But you'll have to
order the plastic bush from...
No..Unfortunately I haven't.But don't worry...it's almost nothing!
Take off the brake lines shield that is located by the firewall.
After you'll see the brake lines (I think 4 or 5 lines totaly),and you'll
have to just separate them, like streching them half of them uppword
and the other half...
My 2jzgte engine swap is 100% completed :wiggle:
JDM 2jzgte engine (Aristo low milage motor)
(checked main bearings,rod bearings...all OK,40-60 K miles motor.)
NEW TOYOTA PARTS
-7m 90-92 radiator/with red toyota coolant
-7m radiator cap
-7m oil pressure valve (for...
Code 14 is the ignitor's feedback (Black colour wire)
I had almost the same problems when I had wired the s-afc & avc-r
to it for the rpm data, and had a switch for the rpm or injector duty cycle
for the avc-r.....
I disconnected the rpm data periodly and disable the switch.
After that...
There are two Fuel cut devices in the market,at least more popular :sarcasm:
1) HKS FCD
2) Trust / Greddy BCC
Both devices are adjustable,so we can hit fuel cut at any level (boost) we
want. But the devices have their limit on boosting more than 1.4/1.5 !
Anyway...people say that the FCD...
Don't worry...It is the way it should be.
This is the place where the EGR cooler should have been IF the motor
was a USDM or EUR spec engine.JDM engines don't have EGR systems!
Which is good, cause this system generates heat at the 5 & 6 cylinders.
Many people with USDM motors install some...
I don't like fuel cut defencer devices either :nono:
But there is a but :sarcasm:
How can you run some more boost.Say from 0.7 bar to 1.2 bar where
the JDM turbos and 440cc injectors reach their limit,it is the only chance
to get to a full BPU mod.
The only alternative way is a...
What about the fuel rail of a 2jzgte motor?
They say it can handle about 600 rwhp or maybe more...
And which injectors are plug in for the stock rail without cutting
the oem injector wiring/plugs?
I drive it almost everyday...about 4 times a week :sarcasm:
It is BPU +++ :biglaugh: Haven't been to the dyno yet,so I can't
give you any HP numbers.
I will make a presentation thread soon.
You got to love the 2jz running/revving sound
I will never sell it :nono:
You'll need to get 1jz engine brackets since you have a 89-92 supra.
Hit the firewall about 1.5 cm to clear the second turbo if you keep the
twins...which you'll do cause it is nice to feel the sequential turbos
boosting at any engine speed :biglaugh:
Since you have the 6 speed with the...
Yeah...Noise filter allright :icon_bigg
It's not a big deal if you don't have it,but it has a reason to be there
so it can filterize parasitic interference signals...kinda of electronic stuff!
When I got my 2jz motor working everything was ok except the PS pump.
I had no power steering at all :aigo:
Got a 1jz pump which fits on the 2jz motor without any mods...
With the 1jz PS pump I had a 100 % fully operational power steering!
But at the beggining I was hearing some funny...
You need a drive shaft from a mk3 turbo with r-154 trans and not from
mk4 turbo!
If you keep the twin turbos you'll have to punch/hit the firewall exactly
1 cm and slightly relocate the ABS lines without their heat shield.
That is what I did but I used the 1jz motor brackets not BIC brackets...
You forgot to add the front and rear engine main (crank) seals, since the
engine is out of the car is a good idea to replace them with new ones from
toyota.
Also you will need custom made aluminum IC pipes,6 silicon hoses,
industrial heavy duty clamps for the hoses...trust me on...
I was told that I could go with stock springs/retainers
till 7.500 rpms and being 100% safe...and I know a friend of
mine in England with a mk4 that has Motec,272, revs to 8.200 rpms
and still has the stock valvetrain while pushing about 720 ctrank hp!
I will stick with the 264s...
No valves upgrade or springs with these cams, and I won't buy the
HKS cam gears at all, stock will do the jub.
Ryan Woon hit 900+ with 264s? Man that's impressive
I will keep those 264s for ever :sarcasm:
