lol I work on locomotives.
They use 120-140 psi to blow those full blast.
They wouldnt even be audible until ~60psi.
The air passes through them so fast they would vent your avg full size aircompressor in seconds. the air compressor inside a locomotive is about the size of a VW bug to charge...
GPS locator.
Standalone ECU with key code lock built in.
Or standalone ECU with ECU map stored in password locked carputer.
Airbags to drop it on the ground.
Shaved handles with plated solenoid so it cant be slim jimmed.
screw kill switches & factory alarms they are a joke
Any would be...
If you want to stroke a 1jz out just get any bottom 2jz bottom end make a 1.5jz
If you plan to stroke out a 2JZ for a turbo engine you really should just fork the money up to build a solid bottom end and not cut any corners because if you stroke out a 2jz bottom end you get more power way more...
The tail light circuit is part of the dash illumination so your dash & parklights come on any time you flick the light switch in any on position.
Yea it sounds like to me he ran your dash radio off your illumination circuit:3d_frown:
Just to let you know what I did on another mod is a ran...
Penzoil FTL
Use castrol or even mobil always synthetics.
If the oil was ok other then metal pieces like no sludge breakdown FOD fuel oil dilution water in oil etc..
Then I think it was crank walk or oil starvation (clogged oil gally, bad oil pump) that took out the 7M
Its up to you to...
On 1990
green-white most likely
or white-green will be spliced into the white-black wire.
on 1987 supras it is the same.
For sure the wire is White-green.
On 1989 Supras it is the same.
For sure the wire is White-green.
All models the green wire will be capped off with an insulator...
You can bypass the dash dimmer infact you should if your upgrading the lights to something like blue leds because they are usually pretty much on or off.
what year car is it I will tell you how to do it.
Basicaly you store the power wire and jumper the variable center tap wire to the ground.
89's have been known to have either the square or round motor mounts.
89's have a lot of electrical variations not always coverd sepcificaly in diagrams.
89's can have either connector plastic type yellow or grey.
89's can even have different connector shapes.
like you said a lot of mixing &...
The pullys all change over.
The clutch fans will also from 1jz-, 2jz-, ge, gte
The soarer is the same I dont think you need both housings for the 1JZ soarer engine because they dont use the hydro fan.
If you have the hydrofan you need the rear housing also.
My brothers SC400 is 1992 or 1993.
All the SC400s not 430 have a hydrofan & reservoir.
Goto your local junk yard & see for your self!
I think I may have a JZA-70 hydro fan reservoir somewhere.
I sold the slimmer radiator water reservoir that makes room for the intercooler a while ago...
I just dont believe venting the BOV to atmosphere is wise with a MAF system.
The metered air the is supposed to be in the engine is not correct to what the ECU delivers to the engine these issues tend to burn holes in pistons or FOD if not cought right away leads to rodknock & other isssues...
A PS resevoir will work since they both are PS fluide
Have you tried looking at a SC400?
What I mean is they also have a toyota hydrofan so maybe use the factory resevoir in those:dunno:
I think you are all mixed up.
3.26 is ideal for the V160 or V161 6 speed.
4.3 is perfect for a high reving engine that haves top end power stop & go traffic little freeway driving gets better millage for city driving 4.3 is good for 5000+ rpm revs 280-450hp 1jzs.
The down side to a 4.3 is...
I would have had the same problem if I did not catch it.
If you swap a JZA70 1JZGTE (99% manual transmission) into the MA70 that had an automatic in it you must bridge the harness together in the little jumper harness between the 1JZGTE efi connectors and MA70 body connectors because the...
The things that make the pedal feel heavy and non responsive
Carpet bulging binding the pedals
The little garmets and washers missing inside the mid throttle plate creating excessive slack
Too many springs to pull the throttle back
In the pedal itself there is at least 2-3 features...
New update & news on the project engine swap is done all the wiring mates up with almost no modifications you have to add wires and switch them around
But this is the first 1JZ-GTE swap into a SC400 Running drivable wth a couple wires deleted added re-located but all done with out extending the...
I am working on way more information on this I am swapping a soarer engine into an SC400 the connectors reach with out extending the harness also.
Here is my Doc
Let me know what you think fill in any voids in the spread sheet thanks!
UPDATE: It is nearly entirely filled out the specs of...
It does infact look like the vent line coming from the fuel tank.
The best thing to do is take the JZA-70 really small and compact charcoal canister and mount it on the brake booster/mastercylinder bolt then bend the line to that side of the engine bay as close to the top nipple of the...
