yeah if you could find out that would be cool. i loved my hawk pads too. i couldnt tell you how many pads ive tried to find some i like. i found another set of pads that were awesome to replace the hawks. i went to reorder, and sadly, no longer offered those either.

when did they re-release hawk pads for mkiii?
i bought a set a few years back and was told that was the last and were no longer making them? :dunno:
why did they switch or why i dont deal w/ them?
not sure why they switched.
we arent a retailer for rc stuff, thats why i dont deal with them. nothing against them.
aaron- the only problem being in place of the charcoal canister is the heat. it doesnt condense as well there after it gets warm. its better to mount it in a cooler location if possible.
for the oil cooler sounds like you just need the cooler and the temp thermostat.
this would be good...
the greens arent bad. just dont bite quite as hard as the new reds. repeated heavy braking the greens have a bit more fade. the greens are a little easier on the rotors tho, but a little more dusty.
brake pads-
i like porterfield and ebc reds. not too spendy, low dust, good life, good braking, not too noisy.
catch can-
they are really all about the same. only different ones are some of the more expensive ones that are baffled and filtered. something like the greddy is just a...
i had a 60-1 upgrade. mine was on for 3yrs, driven 70 miles a day, running 16psi. it was still boosting fine when i took it off and sold it, but it was starting to smoke a little. but unsure if it was valve seals or the turbo. the guy i sold it to had jon do a bb upgrade on it so don't know...
be very careful w/ the fuel lines by the tank. they bend very easily. best thing to use is a flare wrench.
another thing i would do while you have the afm out. drill out the factory plug over the adjusting screw. now you can adjust how much unmetered air comes thru. helpful in tuning and...
4082 is a cool turbo, but you would be hard pressed to make 500rw on pump gas.
if you want power and spool you are going to have to get a small a/r and bb on a mid size turbo imo.
also dont forget there are a lot of other factors effecting spool than just the turbo setup.
500-550rw on pump gas you are going to have to get the 67mm. its going to hit full boost in the mid 4's in standard configuration. however, you can get bb version for not much more, and use a p trim w/ a .58 a/r. the smaller a/r will limit some of the top end power, but at pump gas boost...
its worth a shot, but i dont think it to be the case. friend of mine didnt know any different and had them mounted in the center and rear hole. its been like that for 2yrs and never a code 52. i just recently spotted it being in the wrong place when pulling his intake manifold.
