no offense, but i wouldnt have done that to them. something that important i would want the right clips on them. we have them in stock for $30 and could have had them to you the next day. good luck to you tho, hope it works out.
on a side note, what shot are you running?
good job at the track.
once you can launch a little harder and get the 60' down to 1.7 range it will really make a difference. if thats the turbo i think it is, it really doesnt start getting into its power range until about 17-18psi. it should be real fun at 20psi. good luck!
try turning the boost enrich off.
try turning the boost control function off. one of the cars i was trying to tune it was causing some issues. atleast take that out of the equation.
might also try lowering the displacement to 2.8 or 2.9L that seems to help as well.
also, you say you...
there are some small all aluminum trailers that are right at 1klb. problem is most of those are rated at 4klb max load. its doable, but close all the way around and a supra will barely fit.
most trailers are alum and steel and weigh 2klb+
i dunno, doesnt seem far off to me.
here is a car i tuned a while back with almost identical setup. this was 14psi.
note the blue lines was first tune, and was hitting fuel cut.
red lines was near the end when making it all the way to redline...
yep. all mine have been cut and drilled. supras are wicked for air pockets, esp in the heater core.
since using the mod'd t-stat and filling the t-stat housing, nary a prob w/ the air.
f-150 is a little light. id go for a 250/2500 (3/4 ton)
when towing you want to be heavier than the load, or atleast 80% of it.
edit:
ss- i second the hot and humid. jeesh
5th wheel and gooseneck are a little more stable, but harder to take turns with. your truck makes the turn...
it really depends on your budget.
if you wanted a cheaper route, something like a mid 90's 3/4 ton w/ a 18' open deck beavertail trailer would work well.
if you wanted something more serious, a 1 ton truck w/ a 24' haulmark enclosed would be sweet.
sorry to hear derek :(
really nice looking car and looks well maintained.
usually i try to get 1/2 of what i have in the car as a starting point.
good luck with whatever you decide.
yeah you can get either one w/ a 68-1.15 a/r. the reason i thought it might be the 61mm was because i saw mention of the t3 housing for it. you wouldnt want a t3 on a 70mm turbo, or if it would even be available that way (mine arent). also the fact you arent going to have full boost at <4k on...
buddy has his removed, but looped the in and out at the rack to keep fluid in it. i drove it, and thought it felt awesome. it was easy to drive and had some actual road feel while driving. slow speed driving was fine, and i did turn around in a parking lot to park. it did take a little...
the mp 70 is a 61mm turbo (60.5mm). the mp t70 is a 70mm turbo (69.9mm).
that changes a lot of the equipment requirements. as well as spool and power output. you need to make sure what you have before you get a lot of oversized equipment that you dont need.
damn sorry to hear you are having such rough luck with it.
one positive thing tho, atleast you know for sure now the cam position is effecting the compression.
just curious, what is your vac at warm idle?
one other thought- did you check ign timing after you degree'd them? anytime you...
