It all begins at the track. Went out to the drag strip to go play with some Hot August Night cars. Had fun despite a boost leak. I checked my coolant and oil after a few runs and my coolant was brown, there was "mud" on the bottom of the radiator cap. So i just went home and picked up some...
You can not bolt the pressure plate to the flywheel then install the trans, believe me i've tried.
If there plastic rivets pop them out, you need all 6 bolts.
I guess where I went wrong was I figured that you can only weld cast aluminum to cast aluminum?
Im having trouble with couplers just because they are just way way too close to the #1 runner. Welding on an elbow will significantly reduce the amount of heat the coupler sees. And yes im using...
It may be able to use a 90. It would be alot more convenient to go with a 45 just because it would follow my current IC setup. Yea I could have sworn that Aaron sold 45 degree elbows but I looked and couldnt find one.
It can be welded using MIG? I figured it would have to be TIG since the...
I've had problems with burning holes and blowing the coupler off on the compressor housing of my Masterpower T-70. I've searched for elbows but all I can find is 90 degree elbows.
Anyone have any leads on a 45 degree weld on elbow? 2.5" by the way.
Welding the elbow on takes regular...
You want to be rich dynoing at 551hp considering the kind of boost required for that much power, thats assuming you on pump gas with no methanol injection. Switching back to 550s will highly yield horsepower numbers seeing you wont be able to run the amount of boost your running now.
I was just pulling fuel to see if I could get the car to lean out. I put the mainscale back to -20.
FOUND THE PROBLEM: There was a split in one of the heater wires for the 02 sensor.
Doubt it matters but I installed an FMIC with full hardpipes. The Iat sensor is mounted about 6" from the butterfly on a aluminum pipe. I had a 3/8npt aluminum bung welded in, i installed the sensor with Teflon tape.
Could a bad 02 sensor cause this problem? Last time I looked at my 02...
Yea sorry the Baro Mode has been set to Key on.
I just did the formula with 40psi which what the fuel pressure was set at least night, i turned it down to 38psi. I used the formula and came up with -14%. Adding fuel would encourage my problem to be even more by making the car richer. But I...
Ok I had this problem before and now its back. I will start the car and the AFRS will be totally fine, then slowly they will start to creep rich (10AFR). Cruising the AFRs like to stick around 10-12AFR. To fix this problem before I just swapped TPSs and the problem was gone, even adjusted...
Wait so the car will rev absolutely no problem when you open the throttle body from under the hood? And your only having the problem when your using the pedal?
Codes?
I have a Masterpower T-70 which is ~equivalent to a GT35R, I run MAFTPRO for tuning using an AEM UEGO wideband. I have seen a 1jz mk3 with a DBB GT35R running just an SAFCII. Tuning isnt extremely difficult, but if you dont know how to tune or havent done it before then its best to just leave...
There are no preset maps. The only thing I can tell you to do is set your mainscale at ~-18, mainscale is set per injector size. Everyones maps are different and always will be.
Update the unit to a newer version. V4.80 works best for me. This is were you can download newer version...
