Dont worry about the pics. I was thinking about using a bulk head fitting, not sure if that would work.
If you would please just open the picture in paint and mark where you put your oil drain on the upper pan?
My cousin sent me a link to this ad from 1989. Thought it was kind of cool.
Check it out:

"Weak feature - Normal suspension" hahaha.
I thought I bought a 2jz out of an Sc300...?
With the rear sump pan would i have to buy another pick up or do they all work regardless of pan orientation.
Anyone have a rear sump I can buy?
Just noticed that my oil pan looks much different from everyone elses. I dont have the casting for where the drain flange should go. Also the dipstick hole and the low oil level sensor are opposite.
Can I still use this pan or should i order another one?
My 7m blew up so im starting my NA-T 2jz swap.
Im starting to collect parts for the swap and im wondering if I 1jz flywheel bolts (from DM :biglaugh:) will work on an NA 2jz?
I've almost got the motor out. I bought an Na 2jz from an Sc300 a few months ago... :naughty:
Too late now, motor is almost out of the car.
I'll get it torn down and let you guys know.
Now that you say that I do remember on the freeway heading home the car had a few very small hick-ups but enough to notice the engine lose tons of power while cruising then come back online.
Thing though is im not missing any oil at all, still full.
Ill try to get a video but I dont...
It ran low actually well well over a year ago, probably atleast 1.5 years ago. Since then I havent had one problem with knock.
The sound is consistent at idle, but if you rev it, theres a very small rpm range where it completely disappears. Its rev dependent aswell, higher the rev faster...
Yea your correct it could be a rod knock.. unfortunately. I know its not a bad BHG because my oil hasnt reached the state of white milkshake, its still a dark brown. But if you look close enough you can tell there is some water thoroughly mixed in.
What to do?????? Rebuild or 2j swap?
Last week my car developed a small knock that was very unnoticable unless you were next to a wall and on the gas and you could barely hear it then. 2 days go by and it starts getting worse and worse until i stopped driving it yesterday. It was about normal maybe alittle louder than it...
Its normal for a turbo car to accumulate some oil inside the charge pipes, I would start being worried if you notice an unreasonable amount of oil disappearing quickly.
