Are you willing to sell it? Problem is Im not sure if it's my ECU thats really bad or not. Cant get rid of my CEL code 21 O2 issues. Noway for me to test it, unless you guys know of a method to test ecu's.
Yeah, I know Ive tried pretty much everything. Now Im not sure of the history of the prior owner. I think I have a jdm ecu, with a usdm harness and a jdm motor. Im not sure if this will have an impact on how the ecu is reading out the codes. Main thing is Ive got SMOG due in 1 week and the...
Wassup fellaz,
I know this is not the right place to ask this but...just going to take a shot in the dark. Does anybody here have spare 89t m/t ecu they wanna get rid of. Im located in Sac. Pm me or let me know...thx!
What are symptoms of a bad ECU. I have been trying to get rid of this code 21 for 2 weeks now. I installed a new o2 denso, ohm'd all the wires at harness to the ecu and check the continuity (which all test out good). Could it be my ECU and if it is what are the symptoms and anything I could...
Gettin a code 21, and yes have pulled the fuse for 30 sec or more. I have tried that test from the tsrm....Im not sure if im doin it correctly or not but basically it leads to either a bad ecu or bad o2. I just need to check the conituity throughout the wires towards the ECU. Anybody else got...
CEL for o2 is still on after putting a new one in. With my original harness im thinking there might be a break in the wire somewhere from the o2 to the ecu. Is there a way to trace or check the continuity of the wires from the plug to the ecu pins/harness??? I know there are three wires @ o2...
have any of you MN fellaz go dyno at RS motors??? I used to live in North St. Paul/ Maplewood area? Back then had a Civic Hatch running low 11's @ Rockfalls.
Yep CPS is the cam position sensor. It is by the pwr steering resv. and has a black plastic cover over it w/ three screws. This is also notorious for leaks and controls your timing. If this is loose...could throw your timing off and cause it to stall/bog. Also check all vacuum lines for leaks.
Just my 2 cents...Make sure your car is in good running condition before attempting any upgrades. Upgrades to an engine that is not 100% healthy will just cause issues later. Use the money for upgrades to make the car run right first that way you know for sure that an upgraded part actually...
