After checking for checking for codes I would check all the IC piping maybe one of them might of have slipped off or is leaking like crazy. Something quite similar like this has happened to me before and it was one of my clamps that blew off or slipped off.
I apologize to the OP for jackin the thread. Yeah I have gon to Pic n pull and grabbed like 3 of them. I heard they were goin for 175 @ dealer cost (ouch). I heard of people just bypassin this and capping off the two other ends.
I agree....I have had this happen before. PS fluid always low with white smoke. I finally took out the whole PS assymbly and problem solved. Although I now have no smoke I also have no PS. :aigo: If anybody know how to resolve this issue (jump in).
My buddy with a silver 91T just tried to smog his car. They told him he was a gross polluter. :1zhelp: Funny thing is that his car runs great, idles fine. I guess something about a small crack in the Accordian hose and EGR valve. Cali smog sucks.
Black cars are a pain. The thing is that with just a light layer of dust it looks 10X worse. I pretty much wipe it down before taking it out. My rear tires are BF Goodrich comps...they are a little beefier in the back. These were bought with the car and I cant wait to get a set of staggered...

After my rebuild had the same issue. Come to find out it was the CPS. Had the rotation way off. You Might want to check it and maybe test to see if you have spark!
Brand new rebuild....how many miles on the motor?? Have you broken it in yet? Im thinking probably the rings havent seated yet. Do a proper break in and then see if the syptoms go away. It took my rebuild about 140 to 170 miles to finally stop smokin. Oh also do a compression test that...
So RTV will do the trick huh! Thx fellaz imma go and do that later tonight. Now when putting rtv do you guyz just bead it or follow overlapping the gasket. or do you guys put it on the metal surface and not the gasket?
Ive been trying forever to get the valley in between the two valve covers to keep dry from oil. Brand new valve cover gaskets and for some reason it always seems to seep back in the valley, HOW? Does anybody else have this problem and how has anybody solved it. Thx

Im using NGK bkr7e right now. Pulled them out a couple days ago and they were completely fouled up. Im assuming due to the burning of oil. yeah the fram will just be for the break in period.
Whoa so im gonna have to do a couple of oil changes until i hit the 1000 mark. Any particular brand of 30w oil do you suggest? I guess Ill be going through a couple of sets of Spark plugs too or do you suggest just cleaning them off? They are getting fould up. Also are fram filters ok for...
