hey chris, you can bond a stud to the back side to bolt through the bumper.some people use other thing's,so the gap is smaller.i don't think i'll be moulding mine.the idea of fiberglass and a urethane bumper bonding, scare's me.if they made a fiberglass rear bumper it would be very easy, kinda like...
i made this heat shield to keep all the hot air from my e-fan's off the filter.something a little cleaner looking to drop in this corner would be nice.
i also would like the b-pillar vent's(outside piece behind the door glass, plastic piece of shit thing)
i had a problem using my 1jz harness on my 2jz.on a 1jz the harness goes through the upper plenum between runner's 3+4.the 2jz has a longer lower runner which all the wire's route through, but can't accomidate much between runner's 3+4.it's not a super big deal, but i had to un-wrap my harness to...
to me it's just a muscle car from japan.it has alot of potential and can be built into a supercar.just look down the side of the car from the front turn signal.bulging fender and rear quarter, curved just like a girl laying on her stomach.sexy for sure
i ended up pulling my tb appart to buff it.all the linkage get's in the way.the 2j tb is much bigger with less little tight area's then the 7m.thats one teadous job to take on,good job.
i'm using a union bolt from a ford.i never kept the part number handy though.it didn't seem like people were interested in doing this.it was long ehough to bolt the earl's thermostat too.
i have a 92 super red(mostly),turbo, targa, auto, shadow grey leather.i bought it with 81,XXX and currently has 89,XXX after over 2 yrs.paint has to wait for mod's to be complete
thanks for the info jdub.this is bolted to my 2j and the filter is on the intake side.the only clearance issue should be if i try to run the ac compressor
sorry to thread-jack.i was wondering if anybody viewing this thread has used this earl's one.i haven't run it yet and would like some feedback on it.i'm going to run it with some an-10 hose to external oil cooler.the filter should be easy enough to change mounted to it with no relocator.
i have that mag too.they could have taken a better pic of duane's motor.probably the sickest looking bay of all the car's they had, even thought it was his old set-up.
this car has some nice stuff on it for sure, but there will alway's be little detail's people don't like
^^^the caddy has big spring's on the hindges.i have to figure out a hood support for my supra.my new hood doesn't have provision's for the stock support's:(
i work under the hood's of car's every day and hate when the support's are blown.when i need to do a windsheild on a maxima, the first...
i worked on someone else's supra.i had to take advantage of the nice weather.to bad i couldn't get the other one in my driveway done and back to the owner.
i have a 02 cummin with a 4" turbo back exhaust, that has a pretty good size straight through muffler.i can't even here the exhaust over the turbo and motor from inside the cab.my supra is louder for sure and the turbo is bigger then the trucks
i thought these where for a jdm chassis.they don't fit in the usdm supra without hitting the brake booster.if they worked for are car's,there'd be alot more people using them
