looks like it's time to hussle some of my spare parts.this set-up looks better then the other kit's for us,beside's i need a new master and slave cylinder
i just push on the bucket with a flat head screwdriver and suck the shim out with a magnet.this is the tool i used to pull the retainer and keeper's.it's magnetic and all you do is puch down on the spring.
it come's with another piece for installing them too
i also used a spark plug boot...
there is two stop's that bolt into the door.you adjust them up or down depending on what your trying to do.moving them up will allow the window to put more pressure on the rubber seal.you can also use a heat gun on the triangle rubber piece to form to the glass better.there just being lazy or...
running a usdm 2j harness on a 1j would be a little different because of the maf and second o2 sensor.now if your talking about a mkIV 2jz-ge harness,that would probably be a little more work because it has a distributer instead of 2 cam position sensor's.i haven't heard of anybody doing that yet.
i hung one in front of the stock boost gauge and one in the opposite corner.alos poped one in the cigerette lighter spot.i don't care for a-pillar pods,just make's cop's curious
a friend of mine worked at a toyota dealership when these cars were new.he said they would bolt those pre89 turbo wing's on n/a's when they were bought new if requested.
